Clearing the Clutter for a better you I approached my better half with the wonderful idea of “Clearing the Clutter” he was in complete agreement with the idea he went on to rave about all the available space we would have after the clearing which is absolutely true however, I was not just focusing on clearing space but also lots of complex issues that we allow to complicate our lives . Family, finances, children, relationships, jobs, friends, co-workers etc. There’s two many to name so we decided to start breaking it down on paper according to precedence this process will help us identify and eliminate any undo stress and or distractions in our everyday lives. We agreed on many situations we needed to remove ourselves from and then there was some that we simply can’t rid ourselves of so for those particular issues or situations we decided to evaluate and strategize on how to approach or shall I say reproach the obstacle with more productivity and enthusiasm using our weakest points as our greatest priority will allow us to move forward without getting burned out. We plan to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative by all means necessary these are some very small tips for big improvements, this is our way of “clearing the clutter for a better you”

MANY PPLE ASK, US HOW DID WE GET STARTED IN THE RESALE BUSINESS? SO, TO MAKE A LONG STORY HERE IT IS:

I WAS A REGULAR ON THE FLEA MARKET SCENE AS A VENDOR EVERY WEEKEND I TOOK OURS &  OUR CHILDRENS CLOTHING AS WELL AS HOUSEHOLD ITEMS WE NO LONGER USED OR NEEDED. UNDENIABLY WE ALMOST ALWAYS SOLD EVERYTHING. IN NO TIME WE HAD OUR GROUP OF REGULARS WHO CAME TO US ESPECIALLY FOR MY HUSBANDS CLOTHING, I LITERALLY HAD A WAIT LIST FOR HIS CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES THIS WENT ON FOR 5YRS AND STILL COUNTING. I WOULD HAVE SPECIAL ORDERS FOR OUR #1 CUSTOMERS I WAS SOMEWHAT OF A PERSONAL SHOPPER FOR MANY PEOPLE. Hubby and I love to read a lot unfortunately not the same literature, after 19yrs. Of marriage who knew. Chris my husband reads more informative and prudent literature myself on the other hand am a superfluous reader none the less I’m still a reader. I was at the bored point in my reading I needed more I wanted more so intern I put novels on hold. We happen to be attending an event that showcased some authors so we decided to check them out, after carefully reviewing the authors and titles we finally found one that sparked our interest A NEW” BLACK” AMERICA Averting a Future Of Social Ills Self Help Book Author: Vernicia Malveaux. We spoke with Vernicia (very pleasant woman) and found her to interesting so we purchased an autographed copy of her book. Who knew that this one book would be our households topic of conversation for the next month as I would read this book and put it down to take a break here comes hubby picking it up to read which in itself became annoying as I waited for him to put it down where he found it so I could resume reading, this went on for a few weeks which always ended in a discussion or debate about the topics in this book. My first initial opinion was why is she bashing the African American community like this? Well, hubby had his thoughts as well but, the more we read the more things became apparent to us, we both agree not only does Vernicia address our social ills but, she offers solutions. In this book specific questions and answers are aimed at us the African American community with topics such as child abuse, nest egg, finances, family, religion, crabs in the barrel syndrome, Etc. Along with “65 remedies for social ills that have plagued our community” Yes remedies people because I’m black me and my husband can relate to the touchy subjects Vernicia addresses we recommend everyone to get a copy of this book so that we may all work together to fight social injustice and more. Everyone who knows us, know how much we luv inspirational and success stories. I get so motivated and excited for others why not? Although everyone does not share the same joy. Who was it that said “U AINT DOIN NOTHING IF U DNT HAV HATERS TO WELCOME U 2 DO WATS IN UR NATURE” OH! That was the singer Kandi Burrows (get it gurl that’s my anthiem,lol) I say that 2 say this, when hubby & I decided to launch our online consignment boutique we were so surprised to see how pple well how can I say this HATED ON US!!!!! It just fueled our fire and made us want to stop at nothing to make our dreams come true. Although there are many pple who till this day is rooting 4 us we thank you. I RECIEVED THIS WONDERFUL INVITE FOR MY DAUGHTER & NIECE TO ATTEND A "EMPOWERMENT CAMP" OVER THE SUMMER,WELL OF COURSE HUBBY & I DID NOT HAVE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE WE SAID,WE DO,LOL. AFTER ENROLLMENT WE FOUND OUT THIS ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED BY DESHAWN SNOW WHOM EVERYONE MOSTLY KNOW AS THE WIFE OF BASKETBALL PLAYER ERIC SNOW. I DARE NOT NAME THE HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA'S FIRST SEASON DRAMA TO WHICH DESHAWN SNOW DID NOT BELONG,LETS FACE IT SHE WAS ABOVE ALL THE DRAMA!!!!ANYWHO,I WAS EXTREMLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS FOUNDATION.
